Rice Street Gardens offers space for new immigrant gardeners and established community members to come together, learn from each other, and grow fresh and healthy produce. We are about to enter our ninth growing year.

At Rice Street Gardens, we believe that gardening is more than just a hobby or pastime - it's an opportunity to connect with nature, build community, and improve one's overall health and wellbeing. That's why we prioritize sustainable gardening practices that promote healthy soil, ecosystems, and local food systems.

Rice Street Gardens also provides a space for community events and gatherings. Throughout the growing season, we host a variety of events and workshops to bring gardeners and community members together. These events include potlucks, harvest festivals, children's classes, and more.
